Bike to Coast is an ongoing project involving 131 km of Abruzzo coast and aiming to be the longest cycle route of Italy. The route involves the provinces of Teramo, Pescara and Chieti, passing through 19 towns and along the Adriatic coast. Thanks to our tour, you will be able to take the path in full, although the project is yet not complete. You will also take detours to discover the treasures of the inland immediately behind the coast, for a total of 190 km!
This is the perfect occasion to visit Abruzzo by bike, discovering enchanting medieval towns, the beautiful nature of the Nature Reserves and National Parks, and last but not least the gorgeous Adriatic line coast. On request, there is the possibility to visit Montepulciano vineyard and winery, with wine tasting, and enjoy a romantic dinner on a “trabucco”, a wooden fishing platform on the sea.
This tour can be travelled by Mtb or city bike, through slightly different routes, but the stops are the same. You can use a bike of your own or rent one from us (ask us for information on our bikes). And if you want to take it easy, you can also rent an e-bike!
