The Alpe-Adria-Trail connects the three regions of Carinthia (Austria), Slovenia and Friuli-Venezia Giulia for a total of 43 stages and about 750 km. Each stage is 20 km long and the trail is a defined route which can be walked in both directions.
We have prepared a selection of stages to allow you to enjoy your trekking along the Alpe Adria Trail and discover the beauties of Friuli Venezia Giulia. This amazing region is a border land where cultural and linguistic influences from Central Europe countries have contributed to make Trieste, the capital city, and the whole region, a very peculiar area.
On request you can visit a local vineyard and winery, with wine tasting included and you don’t need to take all your luggage with you during the trekking, since we offer a luggage transfer service from stage to stage!
The itinerary may vary in case of poor weather conditions.
