Period: Any time
Location: Franciacorta, Lombardy
Franciacorta hills, stretching out from the southern shore of Iseo lake to the city of Brescia, are the production area of one of the finest sparkling DOCG wines in Italy. The grapes used for the production of Franciacorta wines are the classic varieties used for Chammpagne, that is Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. What makes this wine special is the traditional method used for its production, giving a second fermentation in the bottles.
With this guided tour you will visit a selected Franciacorta winery from the vineyards to the underground cellars, getting further information about the Franciacorta wines, along with the tasting of three wines, paired with grissini, cheese and Montisola salame.
Night tours are possible for a minimum group of 8 people.
